Respite care
Reliable replacement care is crucial when vacations, illness or unforeseen events interrupt regular support.
People in need of care with at least care level 2 are entitled to replacement care. A shared annual budget is available for respite and short-term care and can be used flexibly.
Note: Respite care is independent of existing care benefits and helps close care gaps during caregiver absence.
